WOW! I was overwhelmed for your dear friend just reading about her day. And what an answer you gave by not only listening and praying, but by puting skin on it all by getting involved in the middle of her mess. As you know, that often speaks more than words. Reminds me of that old quote our mama’s raised us on:“actions speak louder than words”. Bailey, she will never forget that! You were Jesus’ hands for those 2 hours to not only your friend but to her children too.
Yay for not only hearing God’s prompting but also acting on it.
Sometimes all we need is a hand with our messes.
I love this, Karen. What a beautiful insight!
Congrats to all of you at RCC. So glad you are to big to fit. My ongoing prayers and blessings as you continue reach up and out. Ann Miller/ extended family
As I headed towards the green light that would help be arrive “just on time” at this morning’s meeting, I was just about to hit the accelerator when I remembered: slow today.
As I sat at the red light for a few moments I came to realize that what I was most troubled by was what I believed the guys I was about the meet would think about me NOT being early (I know that for some of you, “early” is an unfamiliar possibility, but for some of us it’s the only way to live!)
It was a sweet time of God showing me the power I give to others’ opinions of me, and overall of how easily I lose sight of who gives me value…Grateful for the re-centering. Asking for more.
Thank you all for sharing in the journey!
